This beautiful English longbow is made from a single piece of carefully selected hickory. It is custom tillered and can accommodate draw lengths up to 32 inches and draw weights up to 45 pounds. The handle is only one inch wide and is wrapped with traditional black cord. The limbs taper gracefully from handle to 1/2'' wide tips. They are tillered with a high crown for maximum strenth and durability. This bow conforms to the width to thickness ratio of 8/5 required by the British Longbow Society. Our Hickory English longbow does not have an arrow rest, but is a shoot off the hand style bow. A bow stringer and instructions are included. The bow is permanently finished and requires no maintenance, other than regular care and proper storage. This bow is great for target practice, SCA events, Archery competitions and Hunting, certain events and hunting laws may require specific draw lenghts and draw weights, if you are purchasing the bow solely for that purpose, be sure to check what the requirements are first.

This is a custom made item and may take 2-3 weeks before shipping. Delivery time may vary due to volume of orders and the season you are ordering in. Custom items are non-cancelable or returnable unless there is a manufacturing defect. We also offer a 1 year warranty on this bow in case of any defects. If this bow breaks or does not function properly as a result of manufacturing defects we will replace it. These cases are handled on a case by case basis. Remember to always unstring your bow when you are not using it and never fire the bow with out an arrow.
