The chainmail shirt is constructed of anodized aluminum with the traditional 4 in 1 link pattern with leather trim to save wear on garments and skin. Chain mail was commonly worn over a quilted gambeson which prevented the body from being bruised when the mail was struck. The chainmail shirt has an overall length of 33 inches. Chainmail Coif not included.
