E-mail this product to a friendThis is magnificent reproduction of a butted chainmail shirt that was the principal body protection of the knights in the 11th, 12th and 13th centuries. Chain mail was commonly worn over a quilted gambeson which prevented the body from being bruised when the mail was struck. This piece is zinc plated to prevent rust but we recommend keeping it oiled. The overall length of the chainmail hauberk is 32 inches and fits up to a 48 inch chest. Chainmail Coif not included.
