It's been said that two heads are better than one. Typically, this references two thinking heads, although there's no reason that this ages-old mantra can't be applied to weapons like this Double Headed Viking Axe, especially when it's true. This axe has a double-bit design that takes advantage of having two axes for the price of one, offering double the versatility that a single headed axe might provide. The axe head is relatively simple, being socketed onto a hardwood haft and featuring twinned axe blades that sprout from either side. The axe heads are simply shaped and highly effective, as well as being crafted from carbon steel. Each axe blade features a bit length of 4.5 inches, which is large enough to deliver a cut yet small enough to provide a hefty level of impact when swung. The overall length of the axe is closer to 29 inches, which makes it just the right size to wield in one hand, while still leaving enough length to accommodate two hands, should extra leverage be needed. It seems the old adage about two heads is fairly true, at least when it comes to this Double Headed Viking Axe, as the two axe heads of this weapon prove to be far more effective than just one.
